no. But leveling parry at d3-d4 on a mage is a shame. Better prevent it :D

It's quite clever, if limited. I don't really have anything to prove; I've given my due already. Years of it. I just spoke the truth, it almost makes me want to play again for that reason.

And secretly playing? What in the world good would that do me? I don't have the time to play properly anymore, and if I can't play properly, I don't want to play at all. Some of us are grown-ups now. I would never represent myself as anything other than Elmy and never have.

CptCrumpet wrote:Well on NR I got my mage to level 107 with 181 magery, fought all classes up to d4.

I class that as superior playing experience but that's again my opinion.

Also ever seen someone walk into circle flame? Sometimes it can double the amount of damage dealt making it a deadly close range spell useful for getting people out of tight situations, I was one of the first wizards I know of on low rate to actually utilize circle flame to its full effect.

There were plenty of d3 wizards running around using oldskool tactics whilst I was d1 and using superior tactical angles.

The only other wizard I knew who played as well as I was Defence, everyone else relied on rares and level alone with a cheap flamewave here and there on a slowed target.

Also bear in mind I had no AC what so ever except a level 70 shield.

And I had less than 50 movp.

I've known the effects of circle flame long before NR. If you cast it on a certain angle at a certain distance with a certain movement, you can double the amount of hits. Does that make me conceited enough to say what you said? And since when was flamewave cheap?

It doesn't said flame wave was cheap. Damn dr people...

He said it's cheap and pointless to slow a priest-warrior and just keep spawn flame wave until he die. He will never touch you, so it's really boring. That's not how mage make fun in pking.

For cf, it's 1 case higher then the player and aim 2 down, will get 14 hit.

About relbo being first, oh well, nothing to says?

'douanish' was the first Mage that I saw use Circle Flame effectively. Not many people will recognize the name though. KKCK would, and maybe a few others. It's effectiveness only shines at high Magery / Rares though. And considering he was decked out in dupes, it was fairly effective.

That was on the first INT DR server, he was Vyseus. And Asian. I fought against him a lot.

But yea, it doesn't take a genius to figure out the 'superior tactical angles'. Especially since the same angle is the best for pretty much everything.

Remember kids, if you think you've thought of something original when it comes to gaming, some 12 year old asian out there has thought of it before you.

should I fear that which can only exist if
I do not?
