will the server go to a beta test befor the opening?
if yes then:
will it be close beta and will ther be a wipe after the beta?

im no GM, but i can almost 100% guarantee, wipe after closed/open beta, IF any beta at all

This has already been asked but not sure if it has been answered. I personally think it should just open and let us play through bugs while they fix and patch them. It will take months to beta long enough to fix every single bug and then there might be a wipe i do not want.

A wipe's pretty much inevitable if there will be closed betatesting.
Pretty sure there will be one, there are way too many big changes being implemented.

Alot of games officially open in open beta. I know games thats been in open beta for years and are still in open beta. No need to do a closed just open beta and let us play while we test for you. Then when we find a bug patch it no need to wipe.

Actually, its the day after christmas that typical gamers play around that time. They either got their game for christmas, money to buy a game. Most gamers are with their family during christmas day, and typically enjoy their new games (buy new games) the day after christmas since most shops are closed during christmas day.

On WoW you can see the different in population on christmas day, then a ton of new players popping up the day after christmas...

People are off school and work on Xmas. That's the time where gamers look around and browse gaming forums to find a game to play.

Tbh, no, on Christmas time even tho I'm a real gamer that plays often or programs too mch sometimes, I quit my PC to celebrate it with family and have good time. This is the same for the other GMs so none of them will be able to do the launch that day and I also guess it's the same of most of the players so no, xmas launch won't happen, sorry.
