They've always been banned from tourneys as well as the spell equivalent.

[joke]I cannot see what does Complete Sanctuary and Authority of Whole Save related to them lol[/joke]
I think the reason is that they are not fair to those non-magic classes which do not have any anti-cursing skill, and I am sure that you do not want wizard to Power Word Stun you when you are fighting in event, right? (Unless you say you have unlimited Languid Recover Potion) I think slowing is allowed. Only snag/petrify will not be allowed, right? I remember that Divine Curse is allowed in some servers, let's wait for the server open and see its rules. (Please do not mention that you can win Power Word Stun with rares, they are two different things......and what do you think your shape of your mouth will be if the wizard stun you with his/her G10 Curse Time rares?)

it's not the fact that it's unfair or too strong. It's all about these spell making you UNABLE to play the game, wich is not the goal of an event, i guess.

Last Man Standing Events will be done in the LMS Arena which has lot of magics disabled such as SS. But we haven't disabled any rare (yet) there.

mm, agree to what you have said, but I do not think that GMs will ban these magic if all classes have valid, useful, anit-curse coutermeasures.(except the curse potion) This is also a problem of fairness.

Fairness? I don't see any probleme of fairness with banning these.

Only Wizards are able to make Thieves, Warriors, Archers without protection skills UNABLE to play, but there are no methods that these three class can do to Wizards to make them UNABLE to play. Therefore, this leads to unfairness. You do not have to agree with me, but I am just expressing my viewpoint and elaborate it a little bit.

The probleme is you're poit of view make no sens. You're saying having 1 over powered class would be fair?%
