Ways to improve DR

I do not think its very clever to lock a Thread like that and move it to "Chat" section.
Please just warn everyone, that flames or posts destructive posts, do not lock the Thread, instead promote more ppl voicing their oppinions and posting suggestions '-_-

So, here is what I was writing, while Thread got locked:






Some suggestions I can think of right now:

1. Advertise and make game more attractive for NEW players - I dont see this beeing done.
-Where and how is advertising beeing done?
-When are lvl quests going to be implemeneted?
-When is website going to be updated and more useful for new player
-Been suggested many times, why not do smth that will help new players lvl faster?

2. Dont just implement things.
Make a poll with things you have in mind to implement and ask players, what they want most to be implemented.

3. Balance Nations
How can this be done? Obviously smth that needs to be taken care of.

4. Make war more attactive
Make war more attactive for PRIESTS and why is it that mages cant blast stones? What is the reasoning behind that?!
Delete stones resistance against magic attack.

5. Archers
Why did archers not get their boost yet? There are more and more ppl making thiefs, cause they seem to be superior to archer in almost every aspect.

6. Wizards
Why cant we blast Stones. Why do higher mobs have resistance to magic attacks? I dont get that, why decrease the capability of wizards to lvl properly at high lvl and make em basically a leecher at high lvls?
Why do high mobs and bosses have resistance to magery attacks, much more then they have resistance to physical attacks?

7. Dungeon Times
Why were dungeon times chosen so poorly for asian (CN) community? Why was no thought put into that? Obviously that is part of the reason why CN player got pissed and so many quit. Crap ping, dungeons time only for amercian / european players, of course they would feel at disadvantage. When is this going to be fixed?
How can we get the CN players back?

8. Why did snow war and normal war start at same time today?

9. Where is LadyPhoenix?!

10. More activity from GMs, act like GMs not like players.
Not just locking Threads and warning ppl but interact more with players.
You guys chose to launch DR again. If you guys lack the capacities to cover everything timewise, get more GMs.
Stop getting defensive when ppl bitch, stop sarcastic comments and act professional.
Its been said many times already, if someones bitching or talking crap, warn em, do not get into a argument with them.

Of course you guys are doing a great job. I love how you try to change aspects of the game, changing how jobs are lvld, was a freakin great update.

I have a solution for the inbalance.

X amount of people from Yllse/Zypern can migrate. They can sign up via talking with a GM. Then once the list has been filled, they give free migration to the persons.

That way it will prevent Yllse/Zypern taking Vyseus' place on being dead.

Example:
10 Yllse & 10 Zypern can sign up to migrate.

Agree, but, it wouldn't balance if only low levels migrate, or only high ones. So your solution isn't really fitting, if anyone has a better idea, let's suggest it. Something should be quickly made, actually, only zyperns are getting a good DF ( wars ) and a lot of people will quit if that continues ;S

Well, I see your point. But new players won't care too much about it. Leaving the migration to either high players or old players. Any player has potential. It may not be an instant effect for a lower level to migrate to Vyesus. But, Vyseus doesn't just need pro players or high levels, they need players in general.

I think what you've been saying is good, and then we see, for example, ten next wars. If it's still only zypern winning war, for example, allow 10 zypern to migrate to the nation of their choice.
If we let 10 people or so migrate, and don't give feedbacks to it, there still be some problems if zypern (or any other nation) ALWAYS win war, as war is the best way to gain Dual Fame and Fame.

What if those Zypern decide to migrate to Yllse? But, valid points. If only more people would set aside foolish flaming and stay on topic then we could achieve something. (Y)

I'm saying, I know there are several players in Yllse/Zypern that would migrate to Vyseus to help the balance. I would move to Vyseus to do so.

It's always more fun playing the underdog, and Vyseus is definately filling that role.

1ST. GMS make a lsit with all cc, dc1 and dc2 of all nations and keep updating that list.

2nd. Open a mini forum to see who go or who stay in X nation.

3rd. That wanna migrate just post in this mini forum and gm teams looking if is good for the nation balance agree or not.

Sugestion - make a system in server that creat extraodinaryes war. Exemple when the server see 20 ppls cc or more of each nation the server start the extraordinary war.

Why does all hell break loose when I'm sleeping! Anyways, I'll try to answer the questions.

1. Things don't seem to be getting done

There are a number of reasons for this. First, what usually gets done isn't seen by everyone. There are a lot of things that needs to be done to maintain the server. I realize how it looks like as a player (I used to be just a player too), but matter of fact is there are a lot of behind the scenes stuff that people don't realize is needed to maintain the server. Second, things take time. That combined with our limited amount of time makes things slow down. And third, we are implementing changes and new features on a bi-weekly basis. Compare the game from now to a year ago at previous servers. Can anyone honestly say nothing is being done? Look at the vast amount of changes our coders have put in the game. I think it's safe to say we've never had a GM staff put that much work into the server, with our level of passion for the game. Previous servers merely maintained the game, we are actively trying to make it better. Please remember this when you think we aren't doing much.

2. Don't just implement things

If we ask each time we want to implement things, people with different interest will give their vote. Matter of fact is, there will be people, no matter how small or big, that won't like the changes we bring. Every change and new features we are trying to implement are discussed heavily, with general balance in mind rather than any special interest that most players hold.

3. Balance nations, make war more attractive, advertise

We already have a comprehensive plan in place to deal with war and to bring in new players. We aren't ignoring these issues. There's also a tentative plan for balancing nations, but we feel that one is requires careful thinking to deal with the root problem. Within a few days, I'll be updating the community on what our plans are (not in detail, just in general terms) so that we can assure you we are trying to work something out. And I don't understand the problem with Vyseus. I visited vyseus yesterday and their town BY FAR had the most people. Zypern was empty, Yllse had a few people, but Vyseus had the most people in town. If half of those people in town participated in war, we would be seeing more competitive wars.

4. Archer, mage balance

Honestly this isn't our top priority at the moment. However, we have promised something for archers so we will be doing something for them. Just keep in mind it takes enormous amount of planning and coding to balance classes.

5. Dungeon times

Fair point and it's something we can change with little work (at least from my eyes, would have to confirm it with the coders so take my word with a grain of salt)

6. Locking threads

If a thread gets out of hand, it's our job to lock it and warn players. In that regard the other GMs have done nothing wrong. And getting more GMs isn't as simple as it sounds. It takes enormous amount of trust and vetting the person to bring someone in. I'm an exception since I don't have access to the server :P
