what is a low level map? how to use?

go to the coordinate location indicated on the map.
be sure to make sufficient Mining job level (75+ to be safe).
use mining skill on the coordinate (map must be on the character which uses the mining skill) to spawn group of monsters, which after last one is dead, a treasure box will appear which contains some loots.
map level & difficulty goes like follows (for solo killing):
low (easy) > medium (difficult) > high (very difficult) > chaos (super difficult) > insane (extremely difficult)
bring friends to make it easy, tank + blasterssss.
