Wizard Question

I've always seen people rushing g9 br daggers and I'm wondering why. People also make as many smart rares as they possibly can (g9 shoes usually). Neither of these items give a cool look like the robe.

This is where I stop understanding people... g4+g4=g10 value in both smart and br. Double g5 rares are pretty difficult to make, but g4s are much easier, considering it takes 1/3 the materials for a g4. Granted you still need the gems, but isn't it easier to have double g4 br/smart dagger and double g4 br/smart shoes (which gives g10 bonuses) then to make 2 g9 items?

*edit: You also get better stats from the double g4s than the g9s

First You will need a lot gems to register both blacksmith and tailor saint GM.
To make a dbl rare dagger, the initial cost(mostly gems) is more than a G8. Luck wasnt considered.

Second, for the smart rares... I don't think wiz needs this when fighting a priest or warrior(even fencer). So you may put as much MV and AC instead of smart for most situation.

I think MV/AC hat and shoes is the most valued dbl rares for wiz@@
