dual fame vs fame

what are the difference between dual fame and fame??
Also, I noticed that in order to be dual 1, the character needs to have 2000 fame....that's really a lot!!
Is there any quest to earn fame?? I only know donation, war and the one time fame quests list from this forum.
Since becoming dual 1 needs really high fame, is there a guide to tell people what the requirements are to be dual 2, 3, 4 and 5?
I think I need to prepare early...
