Random Talk, Share your thoughts

Hi all,
I just wanna briefly share my thoughts about this server's punishments of hacking.
I start playing in late June, so far I got 3 char banned.
The first one was my main char, which tried WPE and other hax to make lvling easier during lvl 6x...
(FAIL actually, every time send packets to server = dc)
but I think GM found some weird log later on and got me banned when I reached CC few weeks later.(few weeks later, LOL)
That's fine, although my char's 100% legal lvling is evident,
I still tried to cheat, permanent ban is a fair punishment of trying or doing so.
For the recent case, I'm so surprised that funny trick is realised, and eventually I got 2 chars banned, but this time it is something different,
GMs implemented two different punishments for those Sprite hackers.
i.e. 2 weeks with nothing to lose or 4 weeks with something to lose
Since one of my chars did not loot any special items, I think those players are just roughly or poorly judged by log in ip and face-to face check.
That sprite hack should be defined as Rule 3:
"Modifying Game Files - Modifying game files in any shape or form is strictly prohibited. Punishment for game file modification will be a permanent ban."
I just want GM to explain what exactly is the standard of such decision making processes,
having mentioned that rules are rules BUT players who violated the rules are not punished ACCORDINGLY.
Such decision not only ignored the fairness of other players, but also previously banned players.
If talking about the impact,
1. failed to hack but still receiving permanent ban
2. hacked and loot comfortably but only having temporary ban
I tried both (even both punishments lol), personally thinking the first one is fair,
but the second one STILL sounds a bit too kind for me.
Popularity of this server is obviously a main concern and therefore GMs create some kind of so-called punishments in order to retain some potential/ long-term players. To some extent I think that's kind of de-motivation, especially for those majority players who attend every maze every week. I would quickly fix or block such tricks (i.e.file check system before logging in, recall all suspected items) as first priority rather than wasting time to think how to punish as well as retain those players, furthermore, those rules are clearly shown in game, what were you thinking?
And that Yllse dude Tingxxxxxx is banned, but still included in recent so-called punishment, it is really confusing.
Anyway sorry this is a bit too long and just want some normal players comment whether the punishment is fair or not....feel free to share your thoughts.
