Not sure if its mechanical, I dont think so , but it does everything I need , also have a volume control switch, macro record button , different gaming profiles , play pause next previous buttons.

Keys are good to type on and iv had it for a year of every day use and no sigh of any button wearing off

keyboards like the g15 etc are a waste of money, a cheap logitech multimedia one like I have is comfortable to use and again a quality build, something simple like .
