the biggest problem of this game is that low lvs and non credit users have a horrible time, a complete lack of early game balance, most clases being way to much item dependant to do something and crafting requiring retarded amounts of time.
what i mean is that one dosent start with a d2 classs with gm in every job and g10+ items, so taking that into account is not a surprise that new comers dont stay for much is probably easier to go to hell kick the devil in the nuts and come back .

other things that bothers:

need of a party to lv up: this is a never ending problem the less people the game has the more people that rage quit becouse they cant lv due to lack of partys, adding monster that can be soled by all classes and still give a decent amount of exp could help a bit

lack of rewards for suport/tanker classes: tank classes have to spend way to much money to be efficient while they lv/tt exp gain is below the blaster, as for support (at least last time i use them) healing/buffing/ress give little to no reward.

in a overall look what i think this game need the most is:

a nerf to rares while a buff to classes (specialy the ones that are more rare dependant) turning rares to be an extra buff intead of the must have to do something, this will be a direct buff to low lvs, a way to reward the skilled person as well as a good balance tool.

All the server really needs is a larger community again, so people would have a bit of oomph to level their job skillz up, although i think the job XP could use a massive boost lol. Also maybe a quest at like lvl 61 or something to get a set of armor + weapon say HAT G2 ARMOUR G2 BOOTS G2 WEAPON G3 in force for thief / archer, magic for wiz and ac for priest / warrior.

There are no words truer than that for DR. Everyone wants to be a blaster and no one wants to play pure support. Even priests/warriors are focused on doing damage rather than purely supporting others. Healing during pvp?! That's an absurd concept in DR. Hell, most priests don't even bother to buff/res. Warriors need to spend an absurd amount of time/RE and critt on their tanking equipment whereas blasters can pretty much make 1 set to last a lifetime. Healers are more or less forced to leech exp to level which means they don't get tactic. Blasters are a penny a dozen (forget a dime a dozen) yet there's more incentive to be a blaster than a support character.

In the end, everyone wants to be a blaster and no one wants to be a support role. The point of a MMO is so that different players with different playing styles can work together to achieve a goal that is greater than what 1 player can do alone. In DR, a thief can do just about anything alone. Otherwise, there's almost no one to fill in the necessary roles of the support characters. No support means the blasters can't do their roles properly. Then there's no parties because 2 of the basic elements of a functional part are missing (tank and healer) so people don't level. If they don't level, they stop logging on. Once they stop logging on, others think the game/server is dead and quit too.

not like 2month ago..really2 less..i didnt lie,u can see my guild active back..
well i dunno in other nation cuz me didnt ever make a spy on other nation..
btw this server start going better back..bout dc2,dc3 is pain to get btw...really2 pain..2month i took to get dc2...
bout rares it doesnt matter,its not complicated like bfore...
its just lvling to get lv and higher tt..
faster tt and lvl=RE..i didnt force u to donate...but for the start ya u need it to carry on your mission in dr...gudluck,

Oh how spoiled the DR community has become. DR has no real "end-game" content so rushing to max your char just means you're rushing to being bored. Anyone else remember the classic DR where it took 2 months just to get level 60?

Hell yeah, cause you kept getting PKed all the time ( I especially loved the ARCHER using invisibility & pking in plants )
