Zyph Priests Spamming SS on Everyone in War

For what reason would I be upset about losing in a video game, especially in beta? You're the only one whining here. I'm simply pointing out that this issue needs to be address or many people, including myself, won't be playing on this server. This issue has been brought up before here: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=535, and I'm far from being the only one who thinks SS shouldn't be castable on opposing nations in war.

Its called strategy, and i think its completely fair for priests to use it. I mean if we are going to take away spells because people hate them being used on them then where would the list end? Can we please make it where pikes cant slow you down? I hate running slow because when i do i die witch is most unagreable as i like to not die.

But to be on the fair side it is a little much sometimes. Maybe they should make a huge cool down so you can only SS once till the old one runs out?

i know this is a part of the game but i still agree with some suggestions in suggestion section to make buff and protection spells being able to be casted only in party/nation/guild members.... but as long as they didnt say anything about this changes yet and what they think about it this is just a part of the game so deal with it =P

I still disagree its a strategy for a priest to ss someone to stop them from using spells. But i do think they should make it to where you can only cast 1 ss at a time.

i know it is used this way and i dont have a problem with it but for me a protection spells should be used as a protection spell and not as a dispel in other players... if im not wrong there is some other skills that would have this kind of effect and was actually thought to be used that way... using sfd/pro/ss in other players to prevent then from using their own skills just seems wrong for me.. the same way i think it is wrong when you use a mass healing skill it heals enemies... friendly magic should only work in party/guild/nation members

i agree about the healing it should be friendly only. But i still have to respectfully disagree as far as SS goes. And for another dispell if the priest uses that spell mages will shit down his neck and call him a noob. Atleast with SS you do not get as much shit for it because it protects the person with it on a little aswell.

That's a very poor argument . I'll for for other people's responses first before I give my opinion.

You can't really blame people for using skills they have, both stun and ss. I get the stun complaints even less but that's another topic.
Disabling casting ss on other nation might be a way to solve this (and maybe keep it working for other nations people when they are in your party).
But since casting SS on other nations can also be part of a strategy it might be worth a thought to think about adding a skill for wiz and/or priest to remove ss from own nations people too balance this a little (functionality could also be added to an existing skill).

Best is probably to kill those priests though. Without unlimited R.E. people might not have unlimited res elixir either so you'll have a break from those priest for some min, maybe.

for me a curse is different from a buff and something that should be a buff shouldnt be possible to cast on enemies.. priest already has skills for this functionality and they are lazzy to spend another shortcut to use it if they can just use the same skill they use on then.. dunno if ss has any other benefits then the curse that stop players from using skills/spells, maybe it last longer? maybe the curse only work on wizards and not others? dunno...

SS isn't the only buff spell that one would use against enemies.

Valarwen only make masive stunt when enemy start first. no more comment.

Stun can't be compared to SS. Stun can be prevented in many ways, SS can't.

SS can be prevented by using
1. Dispel Magic
2. Return From CounterAction Of Divine Grace
So if you do not wanted to be SSed, learn these magic!
