It's not Asia. Btw, I'm pretty sure you played DRint (DR B R). Which host do you find better?

DRint is better, less delay and lag, if the server officially launched and have the same laggy delay problem, im gonna quit, but i really like DR, and i have no choice, lag + delay cant play well T_T

The delay isn't that bad, you were used to having a server located practically next door. If we host in another country, prices are higher, and pings for Europeans will be higher as well, which results in complaints from their side.

In that case, based on website traffic, we'd have to host in Hong Kong, would you like that?

You guys realize this is an MMORPG that isn't exactly an instant connection right?

No matter what game you play, you will experience having some sort of 'lag'. DR BR server was located in Canada which it seems like most of the people complaining in this topic are from either A.) Canada or B.) Malaysia.

Now, to be fair, the europeans most likely had a little delay when playing DR BR. It wouldn't be right to just change the server back over to Canada just to satisify the few Canadians that think they getting OMGAWD, HUGE LAG!!!!! Its not THAT bad. Adjust your game play a little and it will be fine. There is no way you can get a 0 lag server for everyone!

Do this test if you have 2 computers. Move on 1 computer and watch when you move on your 2nd computer. See the delay? Its normal! Thats why there are so many problems with getting killed by a hit from so far away. Different people have different connections, all are variables in ANY MMO you play.

Welcome to Gaming!

Thanks,
Minipp

We're comparing DRint vs DRG host. HK players said DRint host > DRG host. Therefore, DRint wins the majority. Where are you getting HK host from? What you're doing is adding a THIRD option, which totally changes things up.

Make a poll for hosts then, having most players play with delay while a small number enjoys their free lag doesn't sound logical to me.

@ Minipp: Doesn't matter if "the only people complaining about delay/lag are Canadians/Malaysians", as long as their the MAJORITY. Do you want to have 3/10 players lag-free while the other 7 are forced to play with lag/delay on your server?
