Is there any tip to do job quests?

I know job skills will only increase through completing quests, but how can I get materials if I always failed? I've been cutting the trees for about an hour to get 20 nutmegs....
I'm not sure if I'm doing the right way...can anyone please help?

yes, theres a tip

try ask some1 who is gm to help u out, he cut n u pick up, make a list of all u need b4 pick up so u dun waste time picking up useless things...

i was lucky to hv some1 help me with mining but not able to find some1 to help me with lumbering...
thx for the tip, so I guess i'll just keep lumbering....hopefully i can get materials quick
