If they launch before most features are done, they will have their hands full on moderating the server and dealing with support and such, which leaves little time to code, and then you get players complaining about how few updates there are after a while. I say go complete like 70-80% and run beta.

Stackable items and right clicking party pictures for casting spells is enough of a change haha :W:

to ease your pondering here are some examples:

    - features that have profound effect on the speed and/or way of advancing in the game
    - features that gather game related data such as person X finished thing Y
      - Think of the possibilities ;)

    - changes to logging and other critical stuff that has to be uniform after launch for analysis tools
    - ...

Then we will look into opening beta. X-mas wont slow us down 8-)

Current work being done and additional plans for December:

    - Website ~80% done
      - Security stuff implemented
      - Main page being worked on
      - Content [content is not calculated towards %]

    - Tools for editing maps ~70% done
      - Various new mining spots in nation maps (Diamonds in nation map? :shock: )
      - ... some secret stuff

    - More quests are being written ~50% done
      - There are lots of quests and writing them takes time
      - ...

    - Game security
      - We want a clean server with no hackers :)
