But there's no option saying to nerf it in a different way. 15 cp and 1 charge... cmaaan... seriously. :hmpf:

yep not right now. but when some wizzards use curse magices lasting time + x seconds, a blindness or a stun will last for more than 5 minutes.
then at that moment,a topic for nerf on the blindness stun or the curse magices lasting time rares will be posted, i think.
anyway, my opinion is:GMs should not change game settings so frequently.

We might take a different approach in nerfing it if you post it here. The poll is just a general way of looking at the numbers, but we read every post and look at the merits of the argument. If you think there's another way to nerf it or if you think the nerfs are too severe (but you want a nerf), then please do post it. We will greatly appreciate it (Y)

We are going to change the game whether you like it or not. Games are suppose to evolve and it's our job to make sure this game is being maintained and improved. If your view is the predominant view, then we will take that into consideration. But all things considered, right now you're in the small minority. Unless you can give us a good reason not to change the game, simply stating it as a small minority will not have much of an effect. Please do elaborate on why you think the game should not be changed.

Indeed if you have another suggestion, pick Nerf it and then post your idea! the idea in SignBreakers post was a starting point and it was posted here to get more views and maybe a better solution by players

my opinion is:GMs should not change game settings so frequently.

we have many changes planned and lots of upgrades coming so things have to change for the game to evolve to the next level i think :) of course we ask community for changes in current skills because not all of the GM's play and cannot know everything :)

only a litle group of people want no changes but that way DR will never grow

Cherroy Shade does need to be nerfed based solely on the fact there is NO counter for it. (Other than a bag full of food :angry: )

Nerfed like this tho? I don't quite agree. I mean.. you're talking about taking a CS that is nowhere near as damaging as either of the X-fire/ice and making it cost 50% more than those abilities??

Why not make sfd just block it? Or maybe not sfd, make it something that there would have to be a decision to be made. Instead of just "Ok, sfd everyone. Now we're just as safe as before and can't be defooded!". If that makes sense, I hope it does. Make people start needing to decide like "Oh, this guy defoods maybe I better put X on myself to stop it but if I do that then so and so might kill me, so maybe I need sfd instead and just use the food in my bags until my team kills the defooder."

What I'm getting at ultimately is to add some more dimension to the game. As it stands right now everyone knows the best combos/rares and what have you to win a fight with whoever. Most games that have a PvP aspect aren't like this, it's constantly evolving and making players learn the new strategies for beating someone.

I'm all for changing the game and I like what the GMs have done so far, but the answer to everyones QQ so far seems to be just "Nerf this" and then everyone shuts up because they're happy but at the same time I don't think you realize that you just screwed over the people that were using the game mechanics to their advantage case in point would be the CN population of the server (Yes I know there was other reasons that a lot of them left but I also know they were very unhappy about the SS nerf because they felt that they were being punished for a "Clever use of game mechanics").

this is what i want to hear to be honest! but does the community agree with this
we definetly want to add more depth to PK and make it more strategic

I do think the community would agree with that. I mean it's pretty rare to see someone trying something new, but why would you, really, when you already know that this certain set of rares and stat combo is going to make you unkillable (Until that defooder gets there anyway lol).

just as a side note: we can always return to old settings if it sucks! most people think its set in stone after its put in but this is definetly not true! can always go back to old system if its sucky

Now that is a good point to make! I agree that I did not think of this before..... and I should have :D
I would be happy to see dr evolve, even happier that we all (as a comunity) will get to try out any new idea's.
As for the nerfing...... go with the poll. Even though its against what I personally want, I would be willing to try out new idea's ;)

after a while we will re-poll people on feature(s) and if feedback is negative => we return setting :)
this is the way to evolve the game, community voicing their opinion
