Its unknown at this time. So we tell you 3 hours, and its not up in 3 hours. You will be angry. At least have some patients. Everyone wanted the mall to be open, now complain because we are spending extra time to set it up.

Give us a break! PLEASE be patient.

I can fully understand that reason.

Personally, I'd take a false time over "We dont know. Go do something else."
We had a 24 hour downtime on my favorite MMORPG, and I actually stood up the whole 24 hours waiting for the server to go up. I even wrote a program in VB that checks if the servers are up every 10 secs. 0.-
Reason for that was, there was a huge update in that game. You basicly needed to be the very first person to login, and had to break an object called a "Seal Stone" before anyone else. It allowed access to new areas and the one and only person to break it in the whole server has their name honored and marked on it forever as well a special title only that one player can ever have. (I almost got it!)
Granted they did give us "false" times such as "Maint will last 6 hours"
Then 6 hours would come, it would get extended 4 hours, and so on.
That at least allowed people who were not so desperate (like me!) but wanted to get on asap to at least get 6 hours of sleep. wake up, read updates, and go back to sleep for 4 more hours, for example.

Now they also risk servers opening early and being asleep still!

I can picture some hardcore DR fans staying up all day and night just so they can farm out the diamond mines first or wanting to buy RE first so they can grossly resell it to other players since there will be no competition yet.

They would at least get to sleep a bit.
There will still be those people angry about extentions. There always is.

Glad it isnt my call.
