3.AFK leveling
AFK leveling is strictly prohibited. AFK leveling will be defined as leveling a character (Both level and weapon level) without physically being at the computer. The AFK time period for being physically absent will be 5 minutes.
Of course, having a character AFK Leeching another isn't allowed !

Well I would think so too if the sentence was arranged "having an AFK character leeching another isn't allowed" as another refers to the AFK character while in "having a character AFK Leeching another isn't allowed" another just plainly refers to "character." And technically

you are right. leveling = leeching. but leveling requires action and need to be presence and leeching don't have to be presence which is a big deference. so if AFK leeching is prohibit. I would disagree to the end.

Yes AFK leeching is not allowed under the same reasoning that you are still leveling while not at the computer so AFK leechers would be subject to the normal AFK rules.

AFKing at tactic poles is allowed, since that is the point of the poles.

AFKing spells at the moment is not allowed because: it is not available to all classes and though the EXP is not much, there is no cap on it like the TT poles.

Hope this clears up all questions regarding AFK leveling. I'll edit the rules to make it clearer.

just wondering but do gm have some way to tell how much time the character has been afk? as you may know from time to time people have to be afk for a couple of min telephone, someone at the door or the simple call of nature (bathroom ) or we should log out each time something like this happend to avoid finding ourself banned when we come back?

if not posible may be add an afk mode where one wont get exp while active.

on previous server u werent allowed to go afk for longer then 5 mins, so it was easy to stay 5 minutes and wait if he was there or not

On previous servers I've known players that make a macro that says things like "Hi, the time is XX:XX. It is April X Today. Go away please I'm not AFK I just don't want to party you." every 5 minutes and it would rotate between the things it says. How would such macro programs be handled? Technically players cannot report those players because they "respond" within 5 minutes.


What are the rules of catching "dead" AFK levers? For example Party A AFK levels at etin in MMD all night. Not many people go down there so they're not found. Sometime during the night the priest DC and the tank dies and then etin kills the whole party. 5 hours later Priest X shows up in MMD to level with his party and sees a group of ghosts in a corner in a "line leveling" formation. Can those players be reported even though they're ghosts? It's obvious they were afk leveling at some point in time.
