There's some great ideas in there. Thanks for sharing . It's got me thinking positively about it again. All we need now some info on what's needed (beyond the stones for activating a Merchant Master skill, and a stash of G5's) in order to craft those beauties.

Additional question, in case someone else feels like chipping in; does the cash-shop Repair hammer work on double rares?

The repair hammer works on those items the same way it does for other rares, it will be restored to the full dura of a normal item.

And i cant remember for sure, but to combine each item takes (number may be wrong) 3 stones from your nation and 2 stones from each of the others for a total of 7. It will have a 50% chance at failing.

So you need 11 gemstones for each try? Damn that's expensive....

Also, there are easier ways of getting gemstones than just hunting monsters in that nation for hours. The quest to get shiny weapons (low level or high) have a chance at giving you a gemstone. The drop rate of soccu tooth seems really low and the spawn times suck. But it can be done. And it would probably take less time (in terms of days to get the final product not hours of work put in) if you stay committed. Tidk what the drop rate of wings are, but i dont think spawn times are an issue for valkyrie. However they are a pain in the ass to kill and will need a decent party to kill a lot of them. There is a guide on that in the master guild list if you are interested
