Unable to create characters

Despite the use of only alphanumeric characters, I always receive an error stating that character creation has failed.

try rebooting your computer for starters and post back. Have you tried few different names and each says invalid?

I've tried a few different character names as well as a reboot. Everything returns as invalid.

And you are not using any weird symbols either like åäö which belong to alphanumericals in some languages

Only the A-Z found in standard English, I'm not even using any numbers.
