Parry hit bug [feedback needed]

Normally when you have a shield equipped and get hit, you get parry xp from that.
But it doesn't seem to work, I only get parry xp from hitting mobs with a shield equipped.

Did you have a weapon equipped at the time when getting hit by mobs?

Yes, I had a weapon equiped: Spear + lvl 1 shield
Look at the screenshot, xp for spear and parry is exactly the same. And I couldn't have gotten this without getting hit.

Ok, Ill try to explain this.
You are above the level cap for a level 51 ... which means the only experience you will get is by the damage you do.
Understand what I mean?
Btw: I like this one. This actually had me thinking!
