Help?

I mainly use my laptop for all internet and gaming and a few days ago it started acting funny.

I've tried googling the solution and found several possible answers yet none work. I've tried:

fn+num lock
fn+shift+num lock
fn+insert(scroll)
fn+shift+insert
fn+f11
fn+shift+f11

the main thing is, for the most part the keyboard works fine. I can type website addresses and search for things, but when I play certain games the entire keyboard switches to numbers/symbols(when you push shift).

I've also tried turning my laptop completely off, unplugging the charger and battery and restarting. I've also tried using an external keyboard, but it does the same thing. Literally the only thing I've gotten to work correctly is the on-screen keyboard for typing letters.

I have an HP Pavillion G60 442OM (letter o, not number 0)

Any and all help is appreciated.

P.S.

Forgot to mention that it's not specific keys that type numbers, it's all keys. Also, each key can be every number.

Example:

I hold the "f" key in and it types 012345678901234.......

"Try going to Start->Settings->Control Panel and double click on Regional and Language Options. Make sure the Regional Options tab is set to English. Then go to the Languages tab and click on Details button. Make sure that the Keyboard has US under it."

Have you tried reinstalling the game? I'm not sure if it will help though..

It's not only DR that it does this to. Another game I play called Project Catastrophe has the same problem.

or do u have any anti-virus install?
they might mess up your keyboard when dr or other game start running.
Try disable them and run.
