Runtime Error

Hi people

When I play DRG, I keep getting this error that crashes the game and says something like this:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error

This application has requested Runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

I really don't know what's causing it. It usually happens while I'm in a crowded map or fighting an enemy or enemies, but sometimes it happens randomly in a peaceful area when I've been running it for a while.

I'm running on Windows XP Service Pack 3.

Please help, I haven't played DR in years, and I really want to play again. :help:

Maybe you need to download and install this --> http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en

Not sure tbh, but won't hurt to try it. :W:

Do you remember how it was fixed?

I may have the same problem- yesterday after playing DRG I the little message in the toolbar saying "Virtual Memory Minimum is Too Low" or something like that.

1:No, just with DRG. I play multiple other games such as Doom 3, Portal, HL2, etc. with no related problems.

3: Haven't actually checked my task manager to see if it states the memory loss there...

4: This is coming from my Device manager, so it's probably pretty accurate :P

Computer: ACPI Uniprocessor PC
Display Adaptors: ATI Radeon 9550/X1050 Series
ATI Radeon 9550/X1050 Series Secondary
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3400+

ram I'm really not sure about and have no idea how to check.

Ack, post edits...

5: Well, it's not like a random crash with no error message, and I do get to play for a while before it crashes, so I don't think it's the same thing.

If the ram is what I'm thinking it is (where the installed files are shown... like in Add and Remove Programs), then it might be around 10 gb or more...

If it's the physical memory like in the task manager, it says 1048048.
