Memory/CPU/crashes - tests

All is in polish so look only at numbers and graphs(system is xp sp2)...

Razem = everything(all)

Before i launch DR :

Righ after i launch DR and my character stands in the centre of helternt:

After soloing for 10 minutes in west desert (man-scorp):

After soloing for 10 minutes in hegemonia (succubus):

- tested it with sound/no sound but there seemed to be no differences
- tested it only in full screen with 1 client
- after you engage in battle available memory goes down(even faster when you exp with party instead of solo) till it reaches about 2000(KB) and eventually game crashes because of the lack of memory...
- before .... i could play this beta all day and didnt have any problem with memory(it is an issue only in DR.. no problems while using/playing other games/programs)
- it seems a problem showed after one of the updates/reboots (not sure which one though)
- server got more laggy

As i read the forum there are others with similar problem and i thought those tests may help in some way for solving it ...

To also make sure its not a fault on my side i checked system from viruses (clean) and i did defragmentations of the drives..

The screenshots don't show any real problem though. After some time DR allocates about 600mb memory on my win7 as well.
But I guess you are speaking about the memory leak also mentioned elsewhere.

Just for clarification, it only happens when fighting monster? That might help them to find the problem faster (if they don't already know it).
Maybe they forgot to free a variable in a frequently used function that is battle related ^o^

This is after random playing(running over maps,soloing on man scorp, soloing succubus) after 1h :

With some more tests i came up to conclusion:

The more animations(especially battle - skills, spells etc) on screen the faster memory leaks. For example :
-Standing in city and do nothing = almost no memory leak
-Only running over random maps = little memory leak
-soloing in west desert (man-scorp) = memory leak(probably i can play like 5h before game starts lagging or i get an error)
-soloing in hegemonia (succubus) = big memory leak(i can play like 2-3h before game starts lagging or i get an error)
- party in hegemonia (succubus) = very big memory leak(i can play like 1h before game starts lagging or i get an error)

lagging= like 10fps or lower lol


edit: anyone wanna play pacman XD ??

i have this problem too!! i can play max2h and crash, cant make quest (abyss etc.) on quest for sc i go max for 3fl and its crash me... :help: :help: :help: :help:

i agree dr does seem to take up alot of cpu for no real reason.

gm's already said this is going to be fixed in next server reboot...
