that's a really low upload speed, half as much as mine( even mine is low)
but it should work for any game where you arent the host of a room or something.
If you have emule, a torrent client, or something similar running, limit the upload there to 0/1/2/3 KB/s or turn the damn thing off completely, those things consume a huge amount of bandwidth when they're even at 0KB/s because they're still connecting seeds and peers.

I don't usally have anything running in the background and my internet speed is from my university residence so I can't really do anything about it . But, i've played on other servers, and this type of delay has never happened. Worse case scenario I just won't play thief or archer.
