I'am at the candle making quest from level 55 to whatever and I need 30 Shinings to go on.
I thought that the process of making 1 shining equals 10 shinings because the durability says 10/10. So I should only make 3 shining which should equal 30 for the quest, 3x10=30... but that doesnt work.
I already figured that out at the beginning where you need to make 30 small candle which come in stacks of 2 (durability 2/2)... so I made 15 of them and this also doesnt work... you actually need to make 30 small which equals 60. I didnt mind since the small candle are just bee wax, but for the shinings you need 1 surgeon. That means I need 30 surgeons for increasing candle making from 55 to 60 or whatever. Is this intended to work so? If yes, than its not bug but still f*** ridiculous that you need 30 of the rarest fish there is for that quest.

Wow, and what comes next, 60 sturgeon for 60 to 65? I know a few sturgeon locations ... but they are empty most of the time.

Next one should require octopus. I'll send you a pm soon

It is intended to work this way and this is actually not wrong at all.

You don't need Octopus to get quests done. Only 55 Sturgeons. Here is the list:

5-15: 60 Small Candle
15-25: 50 Medium Candle
25-35: 30 Small Candle & 30 Medium Candle
35-45: 50 Candle of Aroma
45-55: 30 Candles of Aroma & 30 Medium Candle
55-65: 30 Shinings
65-70: 50 Candle of Thought
70-75: 25 Candle of Thought & 25 Shinings

All candles require only Beewax. If I'm not wrong, the requirements are:
Small Candle: 1 Beewax
Medium Candle: 1 Beewax
Candle of Aroma: 2 Beewax
Candle of Thought: 3 Beewax
Shining: 2 Beewax + 1 Sturgeon

After calculating how many fishes and Beewax is needed in total I will post this to the Jobs topic.

IMO it is kind of wrong. 55 Sturgeons is to much. What would you say if you would need 55 Diamonds to get BS to 75?
