First, your cape is coloured. Then, you combine something together, like money. Your cape loses its colour and goes back to the original. But once you take off you cape and put it back on, the colour will come back.
Edit: There are other things that cause this also, I've done them a few times, I just don't know what I did to cause the other ones .

Then its Orange, then it's pink again..

I go in bank = Orange and then go out of bank = pink ect..

And on my screen it was orange at market, but one player said : Nice pink cape u have Faith..

I've run in and out of bank a bunch of time and it did it too! I tried to repeat what I did, but when I tried, it didn't work =I. I don't know what causes that bank one to happen...
