Dude, press "H" in game. Then click in "Monster". Now make your lvl + 9, then u find the monster that u have full exp! Exemple: Archer lvl 39 + 9 = 48 soo all monsters between lvl 39 and 48 u get a nice exp!

bocklove is correct about the 9 levels thing, but it also applies to monsters below your level. You should hunt monsters +/- 9 your level as archer when soloing.
For example I solod stone golems from 61 to 72 in Yllse, Big Valley ( stone golems are level 63 ) because it was simply the best spot for soloing and exp was great until 73.
But hunting lower level monsters is only worth it up to about level 80 or so.. then you should always go to for the higher level ones.

I haven't been playing at all ( no secret character I'm developing ), but I will be back soon I think.

Go to Yeti in west wanen. It's around level 45 and drop yeti bones.
