strike: reflect % of damage back to attacker. If you use a G5 Strike and someone hits you for 1K Damage, there is a chance that you will return 173% of the damage (so 1730 damage) to the person who hit you.
Counter: reflect % of damage based on total hp. If you use a G5 counter and the person who hit you has 10K HP. If they hit you 1 damage, there is a chance that your counter rare will hurt the attacker for 1900hp. If they hit you for 10K damage, there is a chance that your counter rare will hurt the attacker for 1900hp.

For pvp: strike for archer and thief. counter for warrior and priest. That usually works best although personally I like a mix of strike+counter if I'm going to use a reflect damage set.

Use Desire :W:

Desire only works when you have some HP lost, I can't afford that on my archer '-_-

It depends. If you have very high tt and are able to kill the archer/thief in 1 double strike then use full force. Most of the time, warriors won't be able to kill the thief/archer in 1 attack/skill. If you use 2 attacks, it's easy for the thief/archer to pot between your hits. By using strike/counter it's harder to pot because they hit you and you hit them right afterwards but strike/counter doesn't activate 100% of the times. If the archer/thief pots every time he hits you just in case strike/counter does activate, he will run out of pots very fast. If he waits to see if it did activate, he risks you hitting and killing him before he's able to pot the strike/counter damage. Also if you hit the thief/archer at the same time he hits you and strike/counter takes effect, usually you'll kill him.

for mantles, it depends on your play style.

I will disagree with you montana. Except if your char is really strong. A buffed priest won't die to thief/archer. They will use strike to kill you, since you are the same level in this server. If you have Desire rare, you will hit harder on the priest making you able to kill him.

In the end, if he use strike, you have some chance to kill him

if he don't, you can't kill him.

Desire if very very very very very strong.
