Repair Hammer

Ok I'm pretty new I only played once before on a level 9x Wizard when this guy Darrel or Daryl and LadySomething introduced me to this game. So now I'm back, currently have a level 6x wizard and a few GM jobs and I have lots of questions still about this game, ign "Xolotl."

For now I just have a couple questions 'cause I noticed when I repair my crafted rares, their max durability goes down permanently. So, I want to know can the repair hammer in santa mall can repair the item to it's original max durability?

Second question, today I tried logging in and I got a message saying my ID was in use(i dont share my account). I think this was after a failed login attempt due to incorrect password. Is this normal or even possible?

Well the third time I got in and nothing looks like its missing, so far, everythings ok but not sure if I should still be concerned.

New request: Quests seem to demand a lot of copper, and I've yet to find a good location to mine it.

Garnet and Sapphire seem to be over abundant, Amber following not too far behind them. I've even found great spots for Amethyst and Crystal. Might anyone point me towards a nice location for copper? I'd appreciate it !

New questions: Are the Santa Mall mantles the only capes you can find in DR, or are there possibly better mantles that can be found elsewhere?

I've noticed many people buying skins at around 2RE each, is this the average price for all skins or are some usually priced a little higher than others? For instance, wolves and lizards lack a good pit in Yllse, collecting skins from these would be slower than say manscorps. Unless there is a better pit I'm not aware of?

OK 1st - Repair Hammer will repair an item to its Default Value - So if you have a Grade 9 for example , it will have about 900 dura , if you use a repair hammer on it , it will repair it to what ever the default value for that item is.

2nd- Normally the ID in use happens on two types of occasions, First being somebody IS logged onto your account , and the second being , If you disconnect (like your internet cuts out)it will say ID in use because it will take a few minutes/seconds for the server to register you being disconnected so if you try to login just as it was DC'd the server still thinks the character is logged in and will say ID in use(because its still logged in the server table)

If your worried , change your password

I was already thinking about you as a decent person...now that i know you was introduced by Daryl and coleen i may consider you part of family

Repair hammer isnt an original item....it was developed by a new team, and it was badly coded....thats the reason for it not give full dura to item but G1 dura... they didnt know how to calc full dura, so they kept it the way it is now...

ID in use is quite usual to happen... Sometimes Server doesnt register logout properly... its nothing to be worried

If you have any other questions feel free to find me...i will be happy to help

Off topic: are you a red dog?

Yea. And now I feel really stupid for buying a hammer to repair my G6 Smart 137 Shoes... It went to 99 dura (full G1 dura). A complete waste of money, cuz i forgout that tricky detail...

GMs should be ashamed of selling that, but who cares...

You should never use a repair hammer until its a 1/1 dura. At that point, you should spend the extra money to buy a repair hammer, unless you want to make a new rare.

Be thankful you can repair it back to G1 Durability, rather than it breaking in previous servers. This is another case of dumbing down the game, just like many other games are doing continously.
