rare durability

the idea is that attacking or being attacked by mobs dont reduce durabilty from items, to compensate player damage could reduce an item durabilty a bit faster.

reason: the actual durability system is completly flawed, those who tank will get their rares destroyed while those who blast/support/etc.. can do it for ever without lossing a single point of durability.

How is it flawed? The tanker gets the most hits and therefore his items wear off faster; how is that not logical?

real logic =/= balance logic yet if you whant to use real logic, heavy armors made of metals or complex alloy should have like 5 times the ac (if not more) of a piece of cloth '-_-.

you know what i mean those who tank cant do nothing else than watch how their rares break while those who blast can use the same rare for ever without losing nothing at all.

that is a flawed system from the point of view of pvm balance.
