I was wondering how hard it would be to implement different resolutions for peoples monitors. Every game withing the past 8 years aside from DR has this. I get tired of having my character take up 25% of my screen because I have a better monitor then some.

this need to change a lot in the user interface i think... and different resolutions means you will be able to see more of the map then the rest cause of the way dr works... but i still think that it would be great if they could at least change the resolution from 800x600 to 1024x768 since i doubt there is still someone that can only use 800x600

So basically the people who can afford 19"+ monitors have to be punished because some small minority still uses 14" monitors
I'm sure if they can redo the entire structure of dr they can do the layout. Yeah at least make it one or two res up with an option for 800x600 for the people still living in 1985

What balzak said, upping the resolution in DR doesn't just give you larger sight, but is also a real pain since all the DR windows are static, and would have to be repositioned for 1024x768

but i still think sometime in the future this would be a really good feature to change the game from 800x600 to 1024x768 xD

I fully understand that I just think if not now that sometime in the future it would be good for the game and server to do it.

My bro can only use 800x600 bcz of crappy monitor( other CRT which was good fried ).
I'm sure this is not the only exception, so make it an option or don't make it at all.

@jarl, if there's no resolution change, i advise u to play dr on a vmware, where u can choose to hv 17 inch for example

Since when did inches become resolution in pixels
