Archer fix

Dear Players,

After going throught the topic about the Archers' problem and talking, we have made up 3 choices to power up a little the Archer class.

First of all, adding a Thief-like multi skill to make their leveling easier.
Tell us if it's a good idea or not.
Also, tell us how we should add it in the game by voting in the following topic : viewtopic.php?f=10&t=5646

Also, due to their lack of Defense, archers can't live very long and their damanges aren't really higher than thieves which have lot of Defense.
Tell us if we should increase the Archers damages or not.

And finally, we were thinking of adding a support skills to the Archers. Thieves have Horn of Iceberg but Archers have nothing.
Tell us if it's a good idea or not.

I chose all, but I think the thief-like skill is negligible as it doesn't affect PvP, but yeah it would be nice to see in leveling.
Damage is definitely needed.
Support skill should be something offensive rather than defensive.

What could be done
1) archer base damage increase (10% default ,12% at dual1; 15% at dual2,3)
2) ac drop skill (4stacking ac decreasing shots up to 38% less AC and lasting 25sec?)
20% 10% 5% 3% could be the stack order..
3) enchanced multi like described in other topic, obtainable by quest and changing old multi.
4) fire shield combat skill instead of fleet missile - evasion or fire resist only.. like 25% fire resist or 20-25% evasion that does not stack with blue grade evasion.

To me the obvious answer would be to increase damage. The reason being that choosing a thief you are sacrificing higher damage for more defense, and for an archer you should be sacrificing higher defense for higher damage, therefore you have pro's and con's for both classes.

I think there's no need to give archer a thief multi like. Since when pk nearly 100% is using ex which is same as thief. Why don't just increase archer base dmg by % base on the poll, and also give them a new skill which can add their base dmg more in period of time.

I think this totally suit what archer should use to be, a kamikaze high dmg class.

I voted all 3.

For starters, damage needs increased significantly. 10% at the minimum, 15% would be better. Then theres the support skill, something nice and really offensive would be great(anything to replace fleet missile), but then again I can't help wondering about how nice a fire-based shield would be. Like 30% phys/30% magic damage reduction for example.
Finally an "enhanced multi" would be nice also. Not necessary at low lvls, but once you start getting into VD2 and 3 where archers cant sit right next to the mob without taking high damage while getting most of their arrows on target. It would be nice to sit in the back and enjoy the freedom of not worrying about dying, yet still being able to get most or all available EXP like thief multi hitting 4,5 knives every shot as opposed to 1,2 from an archer at distance with current multi configuration.

even if ranger had 20% attk increase, they will die before they hit lawl, and ranger will complain DUHHH i die quick give us DEF PUFF and :hmpf: Keep the 20% laawl

Never complained about dying that much (Y)
I just want my dmg already :hmpf:
