Badlands

Make a map called the Badlands where the mobs there give slightly higher exp than normal maps. Of course, there should be a catch to it. Drop items/lose EXP when you die or 'this is where your ideas come in'.

I like the general idea, maybe somewhere around hegemonia would be a nice place for it

i like it too.

drop items is kinda too harsh for a game where making a goood item takes sooo long. losing exp is better imo (TT exp too);

why is it too harsh? you decide to take the risk for more exp, if you dont want to lose precious items, dont bring them ;)

I actually thought dropping items isn't harsh at all since all classes use one set to level, and just fill the bag with pots. Pots/crit dropping ain't that bad :P. Only class that would suffer from this would be warrior I think. :?

the average player (like me) only makes 1 set of good items (after 5 months lol) and use it always.

most people dont have full distant only to lvl up (thief example). and losing that would be just as bad.

if it drops itens then everyone will not use rares in that map, wich will be just the same as if everyone did use rares. it will only make people wast 5 mins to bank stuff.

also imagine the crying of people saying " BUAHHH i lost all my 3 cyc skins after 12 hours of lvling non stop".

qft the risk worth the reward.

something like 25-40% more gold/exp/drop but losing 25% of exp and droping everything when being killed, the only thing is that the items droped should have a short time like 3-5 min before disapearing or else the map will be filled with items realy fast.

I agree if you make a map with higher exp then the risk needs to be high like lose iteams. If you dont want to lose your things then dont go there. I have played games with this pvp system befor and i thought it worked well.

FYI you know some super guild is going to run the map. Just putting that out there ^_^
