Would it be possible to increase fishing spot regeneration? I'm saying fishing only because of the "netting" skill. Netting is required for the higher level fish but because netting allows the player to catch multiple fish at once, it takes away the resource bar of the area much faster than any other job. So at a diamond/whitebirch spot, I can almost always get 3+ diamonds per full spot. For sturgeon, I sometimes don't even get one because I catch all this junk fish and when I catch the junk, it counts as getting resources from that spot 6 times, instead of 1 time like with all other jobs.

you could always use a fishing rod, you'll catch fish 1 by 1 like you do in mining problem solved

Actually, you make a logical point.

If you are only after high grade fish, a fishing rod would be the best option.
Netting can only catch one octopus and sturgeon anyways.

I'll have to remember trying it.
EDIT: I Didn't read original post close enough. A first for everything.

She said netting is required for the high level fish.. I haven't personally caught jack shit with a rod..

u need netting for higher lvl fishes. max one can get using a rod is tilefish i think.

Or maybe make eel/octopus/sturgeon catchable with fishing rods..

Right no I'm trying to get octopus and sturgeon... which I can't catch with a fishing rod, or else I could. Those are also the rare fish that don't drop that often and get buried under the crap fish.

Two days ago I went fishing in Barantan and ended up finding a lot of Octopus and about 7 Sturgeon. I must of just got lucky.
