SS and Ress

So it seems like most people who complain about SS is the fact that is 2+ priests are together and pking, it's nearly impossible to kill that group of people because they can just ss and ress each other.

Suggestion: Disable Authority of Whole Save while under the effect of the complete sanctuary spell. "Noob Ress" will still be allowed but if you're doing pvp, it's pretty easy to kill someone with 1 hit as soon as they get noob ressed if you're really owning the other group and the only people left in the area re the priest in ss ('cause the priest need to walk near their target for noob ress and you have an idea of where the people will be ressing).

Side Note: perhaps enable this only if the priest is level 100+? 'cause a lot of low level priests join pvp only to join and buff/ress while in ss or else they get killed in 1 shot.

That is a bit harsh if you ask me.
Things shoudn't be so geared to only PvP fairness when it can effect PvE in such a way. Even more so when that priest happens to be the tanker of a party and someone dies. Noone in a party wants to be "noob" ressed.

Well, in anycase, I am fine with how it is already.
The priest that is getting ressed is still naked without protection spells when ressed and open to any attack.

Now if this would only effect war, then I wouldn't care.

there are ways to deal with them:

piercing skills
wait for ss to wear out, those secs it takes to ss again priest is vulnerable


a piercing rare could olso solve this viewtopic.php?f=10&t=2624

dont remove the only thing noob priest can do in war T_T .

some of those suggestions about pvp could be applied only in pvp oriented events like war, arena, etc... so this doesnt affect pve and world pvp

people PvP in quests and west glade too.

the problem with piercing is that priests have such high hp AND defense. Max tt warrior on a g20 AC priest will do about 2K. D3+ priest will have 40K+ hp... you do the math.

@Sai: this is why I say this should only apply to level 100+. Not many priest level 100+ use ss for PvE since almost all monsters pierce after that point.

this is really difficult to come up with a good solution.. even if you say this only applies for ppl 100+ it is easy to have some lvl 80-90 priest doing exactly the same things and annoying everyone and if you mess too much with SS them it will ruin pve in some situations..

the problem i cant think in a good solution is the full ress with SS the others i think if you make SS only castable in party/nation/guild members and not in enemies i think it would be enough

i know, that is why i suggest the creation of the physical piercing rare, to give a way to deal with full ac characters.

I was thinking myself on adding some Cool Down to some spells, including SS. Therfor, priests can't spam SS on them and be invincible.

the cooldown would be good to prevent it being spammed in other players but i dont think they are invincible with SS ok that they dont die but a priest with SS cant kill anything either.. =P
the only problem in pvp is fullress while the priest is with SS on

how about making SS kind of like dispel or stone armor with a limitation?

different ways to approach it:
1. damage = loss in divine. When the priest runs out of divine, SS is broken
2. damage = loss in divine up to 50%. When divine is at 50%, SS is broken. If divine is at 75%, SS only blocks damage 50% of the time and so on.
3. Only a fixed number of hits can be taken then it goes away
