shield suggestion

as most already know shields are quite powerfull even overpowered in some cases, what annoys me the most is that unlike weapons/spells shields parring tactic is useless beyond lv 101 so mi suggestion is make parring usefull, intead of giving high lv shields a fixed amount of def why not making their def = parring tactic x shield mod
some random examples could be:
neverpirce 0.17 mod / with 100tt= 17 def / with 200tt=34 def
dragon roar 0.18 mod / with 100tt= 18 def / with 200tt=36 def
dragonsslayer: 0.19 mod / with 100tt= 19 def / with 200tt=38 def
d1 : 0.2 mod / with 100tt= 20 def / with 200tt=40 def
d2 : 0.25 mod / with 100tt= 25 def / with 200tt=50 def
d3 : 0.3 mod / with 100tt= 30 def / with 200tt=60 def

They really should've explored the idea of making shields thief/warrior exclusive. In return, give defense to staves (not too much) and make magery staves accessible (able to craft them perhaps) while giving magery staves white vigor effect.

i like a big part of the suggestion, however, thiefs and warriors are gonna turn out to be unkillable with this numbers... espeacially thief gets a lot of parry and with the 40 def shield they're already hard enough to kill

Maybe instead of a defense modifier, you can do a static number or give a static HP boost (like +5 hp for every parry level) instead.

hmmm, i think it would make sense for the parry lvl to slightly increase evasion. as skill with a shield means to not get hit and counter attacks (i a medi-evil re-inactor i know lol)
dont really like the idea of a hp boost
