There would be no point wiping while the result would be simply returning to where we are now.
The game would need to be fixed first. Then consider a wipe.
@GMSP, I think the reason is that the 'hardcore' players all want to to be Top1 player on the server. They can't be that if there are xxx D4s all camped waiting for D5 to open. There are too many Top1's to make it interesting for this type of player. It has stopped being competitive.
But the (gaming) world has moved on. This game is really showing its age in terms of performance. The gameplay is awesome and I have never found a better game for crafting your own gear (maybe cos DR made me stop looking

), but the graphics are choppy and nowhere near as smooth as modern games. Not enough is done to prevent hacking, afk, etc.
I appreciate that the devs have tried to keep this updated to keep people playing but do it only on a 'in my spare time' basis because this game does not put food on the table for them. It is neglected and shall remain so.
The pros do not outweigh the cons anymore, for me at least, and I've moved on but, for those that want to stay, there needs to be a reason to log in.
One way to go could be to reset (xp, level and attib/skill points only, not inventory, bank or guild status) regularly every x months. Give players a limited time to race to be the best. Put a list of winners/rankings on the website, and let people read about their glorious achievements. I wonder how this might affect the sale of xp pills?
