guards/nk

since i'm a fan of keeping the -exp system no matter what the outcome of the tt caps will be, i hv some extra suggestions to make it easyer to get max -exp and make it (maybe) a lil more noob friendly

1. Make guards hit like 3 or 4 times as much as they hit now, cuz atm, they are no threat to those who mainly pk in town or just pk noobs in town --> it will at least scare ppl for pking in their main towns

2. make it so when u kill some1 in town, u get higher nk then u hv been getting now. 20nk is just to easy to take away, it doesnt stop anyone anymore from pking noobs in town (even if it's just for -exp) --> ppl who pk in town for the -exp will be done faster and ppl who pk in town just to pk new players will hit the max (of the 100nk) faster wich enables them to pk more

3. make anthem give more -exp, anthem gives -5 or -6% (depending on lvl or ori tt), make it like -10% or higher --> ppl who need -exp will be done faster and ppl who pk in town just to annoy new players will lose their tt faster (when u hv max -exp, u lose tt if u pk a lot more after that)

i would say make the guards instant kill... and dieing or athem give -exp but it should be a penalty and not someone would want to do to train tts since it will be an incentive to ppl to kill noobs in town instead of protecting then..

i think it would also be good if the nk system get extended in some other nation maps even they dont have any guards

-exp has a penalty of losing tt once it reached max... btw, not everyone just goes around town to pk every low lvl they see just to get -exp, i used to just log one of my low lvl chars (one of my storage chars) so i could get faster -exp without hurting anyone else in the process (except for the priest that helped me cuz they couldnt keep up with me getting insanely fast -exp :p)

and maybe u're right about moving the nk system to more maps, like maybe all nation maps for example?

i belive should be a cap on the tt (solo and party) but the -% will remain as punshment for killing new ppl, so players really fear from killing ppl.

-% will be more of a punishment if staying in the same lvl become useless for higher lvls... i think that will happen even if they dont add a solo tt cap maybe only ppl that want to make snow war characters will want to use -% to raise tt now

i dont remember who started the suggestion about nk in other maps but i think it will help alot the pk issue for low lvl players it isnt prohibited to pk but at least they have some kind of punishment (or chance of punishment since they can aways wait the nk to go away and dont loose any xp)

I'm very pro noob and i think since they will be our life blood once all the mantle money drys up. I think we should treat them like gold so they want to play here. With that said out of what tensu suggested heres what i like.

1. If you get NK a guard killing you wont reset any of it(if you have 20 and a guard kills you then you still revive with 20). You either need time or anthem to get rid of it.

2. Make the guards kill instant, This paired with the above idea is great in the fact that if you get alot of NK and a guard keeps killing you. Then your going to keep die'n till you log or lose all your iteams in your bag. This is no doubt a punishment like it should be.

3. Anthem takes away exp. And if you have say 200 NK or some crazy number then it takes away your TT aswell. I know about 30 people just flipped in their chair when they heard the idea of losing TT. But hey i bet you will be more noob friendly in town? ^_^

I dont really think it should be on all nation maps. This is a pk game after all but i do think it should be in those low lvl training areas.

Conquer Online system. :D

Besides the anthem ofcourse. I remember being on conquer going black name and haven to hide for like 12 hours till my points went down. So i dont think its extreme enough really we have a carebear system we are just so used to it we are scared to change it.

I will say on conquer you had to try to make it to the market(safe zone) so the guard or any people wouldnt kill you. Once there you could sit there for hours waiting it out. Also when you died as a black name you would lose the iteams you were waring aswell.

1-100 nk = red ( you die you drop wants in your bag
100+ = black ( you die you drop whats on your body and bag

But i think they need a safe zone where guards cant kill you and they need to take away the nk slow down.

i like the first idea, cuz it indeed seems useless if u get killed by a guard u lose ur wanted tag

2nd idea was also suggested by balzak, but i dont know if instant kill is the best solution

ur 3rd is quit extreme, max nk one can get is 100nk (from then on u cant hit anyone anymore) and u already lose tt's once u start getting max -exp --> punishing those who hv maxed their -exp is punishing those who pk just to pk

Yeah But in conquer you didnt have anyone who could remove it. Here you do so i think Its what we need. I mean people can go black name and stay wanted for days if they hide well enough. So there will be fun in it for some of you and for others it will piss them off when their rare drops out on the floor and i ninja loot it :lol: .

And maybe your right about the guard. I think up the damage to where it can 3 or 4 hit anyone would be enough.(anyone at a decent lvl) Anyone under say 90 will get killed in 2 hits. That way you can have a chance to get away and go hide i guess. This would also add some real function to that bounty board.
