Archer Extreme Fire and Thief Extreme Ice.

Postby täisdibla » Wed Mar 03, 2010 8:31 am

Here are a few changes I suggest for Archer's Extreme Fire:
  • Change #1: Make the damage 100% on lvl 1 like it is now, but on lvl 2 and level 3 you get a new bonus to the skill - AC drop, like from the skill "convert armor". This shall buff archers damage against priest and warrior alot and also wizard. Thief isnt affected as much as the other and archer vs archer will have nearly no effect.
  • Change #2: Make the damage 85% on lvl 1 but add the AC drop effect from level 1 already and keep raising it on level 2 and 3 while keeping the damage the same.
  • Change #3(almost same as #2): Make the damage 85% on lvl 1 but add the AC drop effect from level 1 already and keep raising it on level 2 and 3 while also buffing the base damage a little bit( like 85%/90%/95% )

Justification: AC drop makes sense, then ex fire will be a hybrid of multiple fire and convert armor. Also adds the most damage against OP priests who have a shitload of AC and protection spells or warriors with thunder shields.

Here are a few changes I suggest for Thief's Extreme Ice:
  • Change #1: Lower the damage a bit but add an increased chance for critical strikes( debate about the percentage if you agree to the idea)

Justification: It's kindof a hybrid from ice blast and critical hiding, except you dont get the invisibility and the critical strike rate is just raised. The normal damage will be less and now ex ice will have a bit more of a lucky side to it.

That is all I have for now, those ideas will make the skills less static and more dynamic.

Now let me tell you on how you should vote:
first Vote on one of the archer options OR the "Change nothing with archer." option for archer
then vote on one of the thief options OR the "Change nothing with thief." option for thief.
That is why I have 2 options available per user.

Give me more ideas an I'll add them( with your name attached) and also remember to reply, potential voters with good arguments count more than just plain votes.

archer is getting bonux dmg to them already to make them mor balanced in game but making ex give AC-drop dmg is just insane... on my archer on a highrate i could do 11k + dmg to priests with 22x ac... i know archer was underpowered but they dont need such a huge attack buff either

well the normal % would be lowered, and it would work better as the targets defense increases.
I don't find it too overpowered considering they are glasscannons like wizards.

glasscannons with an invisible shield around them that protects them from everything >.> Archers are the real glass cannons... although a well-built archer with AC rares (like Redim) really kicks ass.
