National Flag Bonuses

I'd like to see each nations fag be considered as a pole arm, and increases in damage dealt as pole arms skill increase.
Perhaps other benifits can be tied into carrying a flag?
Lets give people a reason to carry a flag into battle, other then to look cool.
This could be a fun concept to play around with people, brainstorm with me.

I see what your saying. Put the power to make the ultimate flag in the players hands, but make it incredibly difficult to do, still however, your talking about creating a flag, something I dont wish to do.
I want the flags to stay unique. 3 Flags, 3 Nations. One for each. I want to see the bonuses, set in stone upon the flags, completely unchangeable.
1) Movment speed increases to the wielder, and all team mates of the same nation.
2) AC Bonus to all team mates of the same nation
3) Increased CP regen to all nearby members of same nation. ( +1/10s for every flag nearby of the same nation.)
Even that, right there, would make it worth it to me.
When I say team mates, I mean only those within a 6-man party. 1 flag bearer, 5 people feel the effects. Except for the last one, which is meant for all members of the flag beareres nation.
I dont want to mass produce G1 flags. I jsut want flags to be worth something.
