Exp Log

Due the recent bugs with Double Exp, I was wondering: Is it possible to make an Experience Log ?
Would be something like:

<Monster Name> Gave you <Exp Amount>

And you could check it by typing /Exp
Or even better, on another TAB on chat history (Yes. Just like WoW do with Combat Log)
There is no need to save it on Server Side. It would be 100% Client side with the only purpose to inform How much exp you had before and how much u have after killing a mob

After suceeding with this suggestion, I could bring tons of new other suggestions alike :greet:

Well I'd like this, but DR doesn't just give you exp when you kill a monster.. You get exp for each hit you make that depends on how much damage you do, and you also get more experience for getting the last hit and being the one to actually kill the monster. The size of this log would become ridiculous. Just imagine after 1 hour in VD you would throw a few thousand knifes/arrows/spells. I don't really even want to look at a log that has thousands of lines in it..

And then there is the issue of each hit/damage done/kill giving exp in 2 to 3 categories (hurling/parry/lv or archery/lv or magery/lv etc.) And honestly the only reason I would be interested in looking at this log is to see if i'm getting cheated out of exp from the server or if the calculations are correct.

It would be nice, but the ammount of space it would require isn't worth it..

Each line of this log would look a little like this (is an example # are not even close because i don't know them..)
Monster, Monster lv, Damage, Last hit? Pill? Double Exp? TT exp(would include parry), Lv exp
Dark Bear....103......10063......No.......No........No...........200............220.........150

The TT exp would probably have a list of every single tactic with numbers only under the Tactic you recieved exp in.

Thats why I said it would be Client Side only, with no need to save the data.. So It wont require more than 1kb from your process, wich means it would be ridiculous.

Save only the last 10 Hits (Overwrite the others). Doesn't matter if you are set to Lv/Weapon/Magery. I just wanna know the numbers to know If i am being cheated or not.

Each line would look like:

Code: Select all

Rogerio (Troll) gave you 17124 Experience Points.

If you only see the last 10 numbers, what would you be comparing those numbers to..?

I am smart enough to make an average exp gained from checking 10 numbers during a period of time. Then I can activate my Exp Pill and spend some time checking it again to see if its double or not.

I could also use it to know where should i really lvl (good for newbies)

This seems much more practical than I orignally thought it would be. I'm in favor of it

maybe u can activate it like /effect on, so for people who don't want to see it they can choose not to see all these logs.
/exp on, something like this.

That way, you would only see that if you really want to.

The exp that mosnters gives to you, depends on your character level, and the monster level.
When you are in monster level range, you will recieve 100% of the monster exp. I suggest to take note at that moment, how much exp monster gives to you in % . Remember every time you level up, the exp need for the new level its around 12% more, and if you go out of monster level range, monster will give you only 60% of his exp.
