Jobbing autoloot

Postby LadyPhoenix » Sun Feb 28, 2010 5:20 pm

Can you make it so when you job an item (cut a log from a tree, mine an ore) it goes directly into your bag? Since some of the quests ask for 20+ items... it's a pain to job it then have to pick up the item out of all the crap that drops. With the stack able job items, they won't clutter up our bag.

but then u would also have all the crappy items in ur bag like the copper or or the timber... i think it would be just as annoying tbh lol

I think this would defeat the purpose of trying to get rid of macroing. People would just set up autoclicker collecting all the materials in their bag.

Unless there is a way to prevent this...

Thanks,

Maybe a button you can press that interrupts your jobbing but lets you pick up everything you've mined / cut etc so far that's near you? Instead of having to click everything around you. Dunno. I'm half for letting the first jobs be macroable / autoloot.

Oh Wow I think I came up with the best solution ever.

Make gathering items (mining pick, axe, etc) have very very low dura (like 5 or 10 or something, or enough that you have to check and replace every 5 minutes or os) so that they break easily, making people have to come back once in a while. That is, if auto job-loot pick up is implemented I mean.

I am not, if I am, Death is not. So why
should I fear that which can only exist if
I do not?

This. (Y)
Definitely supporting autoloot for jobskills as long as it isn't macro-jobbing in disguise.

F9/F10 kills your idea :/

maybe a /autoloot [insert name of item] command? But so what if you macro it? You're honestly going to sit there and click to mine/cut? The point is to stop overnight afk macro. I'll probably still use an auto clicker to mine then an autoclicker to pick up all the items around me.

If they fix F9-10 to not simply equip the same item-type, then it could work.

why not have it auto loot the items that you cannot buy in the shop... automatically

no need for commands or anything, it just stores the item in your bag, just make them stack able of more then 20 and all is good.

OR have it pick up everything, and make the logs stack more then 20, like the fish
