Natural Buffs from Stat Points

How about adding a second level to stat points so that they do more than just let you wear weapon/armor

STR: +1 attack AND magic power every 10 STR (to make this useful for warlock/templar)
DEX: +1% smart every 50 DEX
CON: +1 defense power every 10 CON
WIS: already gives + devine
INT: already gives + mana
MOVP: +1 movement speed every 50 MOVP
ENDU: already gives magic defence
LUCK: not coded

i think it is a good idea and will probably enable some other different builds ingame =]

Im concerned as to how the STR and CON will counter each other since.. EVERYONE uses CON..meaning everyone will now have more AC than usual..(im assuming these attributes stack on top of blue rares). But only Warriors will take full advantage of the Extra Damage from STR. Archers/thieves will be at a slight disadvantage in comparison.

Archer/Thief will run faster and be able to dodge more at the lower levels. Warriors will hit more but they have a higher chance of missing too. Most d1 warriors will have 580STR (for d1 weapon). That's only +58 damage. Most D1 archer/thief will have at least 200con. So overall it's +38 damage. It's not that overpowered when you take into consideration most archer/thief will have 350+DEX to wear Neith (+7% smart).

At higher levels like D3+, archer and thief get extra stat points and I saw a lot of them put those points into magic, cha, or something else useless. They will thn put those extra points into STR.

Also this balances out pike damage and other weapon damage for warriors. But in exchange pike warriors get +2% or so smart.

id say just leave it. priests at d3 can have 610 CON thats 61 more ac than usual 220+ at d3, thats 281+ and you can make g4 candles that can stack over your ac already thats 298+ ac + the red rares you can add on too thats 300+ ac, as if 220+ wasnt already hard enough

61 AC is over G10
58 Attack is over G5
7% Smart is G2 = =
+7 Movement Speed is G3.5 = =

I feel that you are being a bit biased with your created stats also

I am not against the idea, it could make other interessing build. However, it need alot of tweacking, like kevin pointed, the suggested point by LP doesn't make sens.

i like the idea of stats doing something else but i would make some changes to those:
first of all i think that the bonus should be based on the class as an example a warrior should get 1/4 of what other class get when putting points into str so they dont get uber bonus from it while the rest wont get much unless they dump loads of points.

str: increase base phisical and spell damage by 1% every 10 points (1/4 effect for warrior,1/2 for thieve/archer)

dex:1% attack rating for every 10 points 1/4 bonus for archers,thieves 1/2 bonus for warriors

con:ac is already very powerfull in this game to add more, may be % life regen
every 2 secs 3/4 effect on warriors

movp:more movement speed will make archers/thieve teleport:lol:, i like more 1% phisica/magic dodge every 20 points 1/4 bonus for archer/thieve, 1/2 for warrior
