i like the idea of stats doing something else but i would make some changes to those:
first of all i think that the bonus should be based on the class as an example a warrior should get 1/4 of what other class get when putting points into str so they dont get uber bonus from it while the rest wont get much unless they dump loads of points.
str: increase base phisical and spell damage by 1% every 10 points (1/4 effect for warrior,1/2 for thieve/archer)
dex:1% attack rating for every 10 points 1/4 bonus for archers,thieves 1/2 bonus for warriors
con:ac is already very powerfull in this game to add more, may be % life regen
every 2 secs 3/4 effect on warriors
movp:more movement speed will make archers/thieve teleport:lol:, i like more 1% phisica/magic dodge every 20 points 1/4 bonus for archer/thieve, 1/2 for warrior
