I was discussing this yesterday, and it's not possible without quite a few modifications. This is because there is a reserved space in item properties to store information regarding sets, and these spaces have all been used up already. Since it's a minor feature and would take quite some time to implement, I don't think we'll be seeing this ingame anytime soon.
