And thats the problem, the game has been meerily surviving. The game could be thriving if it was new player friendly and a bit more balanced at end game. The pk system is good, but it could deffinitly be improved upon.

kador,please stick to the original rare making system where u have to slowly making items to get 100% rare making rate and that special material points thingy to get sardonyx since u loves the original settings so much :s

They removed defood spell/skills, didn't effect the pk system.
If they would remove the resist effect from Priests Robe, it wouldn't effect the pk system.
If they would decrease the resistance of the Light Staff that priests use, it wouldn't effect the pk system at all.
If they would nerf CA/Strike it wouldn't effect the pk system, cause simply everyone would still use them.
These are just "values", every game in this planet that has a pvp-system changes their values and trys to improve their pvp system by this.
Why is this community so affraid of changes? The worst thing that could happen is, that after a period of time the GM's notice that the values they changed are not good, so they'll be changed again.

actually i do.. but i guess i am the only one :P
and dont forget to mention the exp rate. I used to love the game by the time people used to actually take years to become D2 :roll:

It's not their fault as most ppl here still like kids even their ages not lol
Problem is the management can not or maybe doesn't care how to improve the game.
They are afraid of those changes would make kids upset, which can be change back if its really effect game balance.

Cant imagine how many players would stay if there is a new DR-global launched =/

God. DR is known for its PK system. Why change crap in it? It's been the same for years. I say enable every thing back to normal, defood, able to cast SS on others, stop trying to be so different with the pk system. You disabled defood because the CNs abused it, pretty pathetic. Everything can be cured in this game, pots can be made, etc, not my fault people are lazy and choose not to make them, stop changing stuff in the PK system.

this was actualy a good thing, due to the extremely slow exp pvp was present from lv 10+, game in general was more balance too, there where no avoerabundace of stats (cant get best hp,weapon and spell at the same time) and weapons where olso better balance (diference between 2h and shield is not that noticeable in the low/mid tiers), heck people usd all kind of spells and weapons from scorched earth to Gauntlet as main weapon that was actualy good due to the low stat requirement (see lack of overabundace of stat).

now is be d2+ good rares + 1 or 2 build for each class or dont even bother to go pvp.

another thing i remember was the old chance to fail when crafting, many hate it but it was actualy good since the odds of achiving imba shit rares was olmost imposible, now everyone with enought time or $$$ seem to have monster rares wich further increase the gap between casual and hardcore players.
