ediiit: I can't believe I forgot to add one very important thing! This also makes the game more newbie-friendly (Y)

Trust me: fixing that bug should be a lot easier than re-making the system. Remaking the system will probably lead to new bugs, in stead of fixing old ones. Look at those changes they have done. A lot of them got new bugs that are damaging the server. That's why I'm old-school. Fix the old problems before making new ones :greet:

About making it more newbie-friendly, it will be as newbie-friendly as the graphical system, and won't change the pvp system, since It is supposed to be like that.
Be the change you wanna see to the world.

Image you sir , I never played world of warcraft.

And this is a game, you can stop trying to convince us this is real.

Anyway Kador I don't see how something like this could cause much bugs, it's only visual. Bugs would appear with incorrect timers but they could be fixed, a lot of the development should be done now, the server is still in somewhat of an "open beta phase"

Yea... Just like on old Dr-Int when they tryed just to add a Timer to show the current Server Time and that fked the server. Everynight at 00:00:00 your buffers used to last forever. They had to restart map everynight, trying to fix it but with no success and we lost lot of players. It took like over a month to fix the problem till they figureout it was something really stupid badly coded.

Ask any old player if you didn't experienced that.

Also, new function gives new ways for people to cheat.

I was on old int but I have no memories at all from there because it was way too long ago xD but you may be right.

What do you mean by new ways to cheat? do you mean "cheat" or changing buff durations by hacking?
It would only be visual, so if they changed the visual timer nothing would actually happen other than a false visual.

Im probably more well aware of the fact that this is a game. What i meant was simply to maintain the atmosphere of the game. This will simply dumb down the pvp aspect of DR which i am fully against.
