It's a game, dying on here won't "kill" you IRL lmao. If you get dropped say leveling in VD, take your ass back, either fight them or find another room.

This pretty much resume how you can't understand a new player mentality. Except some hardcore pker, everyone that come by and keep getting owned in leveling doesn't just dc and come back. They delete the game from their pc.

Considering the example I used of a "hardcore pker" was in VD. Most of the time by the time people reach the levels to go VD they aren't considered "new mentality".

Simply stated also that you don't see many people of own nation running around low level training areas pking. I strongly suggest you read the post more in depth next time. (Y)

There was a census taken of this?

Even if that is the case, has nothing to do then with "new player mentality". Has to do with even after 100 Levels they still suck at the game.

Every post you make towards me you get shot down, when will you learn that me>you?

Did I anger you big fella?

At lv. 100 they shouldn't be noob anymore. Majority of "good" players now had to go through the same shit.

If I personally only wanted "good" players, wouldn't I be right along beside the people who pk noobs? Yet, I don't pk unless in war. Hmmm.

I call it how it is, by the time someone reaches level 100 they should have a general aspect of the game.

'At 100 they shouldn't be noob anymore'...

Quite possibly the most untrue statement when it comes to this game that I've ever read.

Not only do you learn very little leveling from 1-100, even less depending on how often you run into PK situations, the game completely changes once you reach that point.

Majority of good players had to go through that shit, true. Are you telling me that you were as good on your first level 100 toon as you are now? The majority of 'good' players also had to do the whole 1-100+ over a dozen times, too.
Why should I fear Death? If Death is,
I am not, if I am, Death is not. So why
should I fear that which can only exist if
I do not?

I meant not noob anymore as in a new player. They may not know how to PvP yet, but they should be at the point to where they reached level 100 they decide if they want to continue playing the game. If majority of players quit at level 100 due to being pked then that is on them not wanting to carry on to learn PvP.

Because even PvE til level 100 gives you the general outlook on the style of the game. You realize how to play certain character and what works/doesnt.

Learning the PvP is just learning what works on other players and rares.

PvE to lv 100 gives you an idea of how the game is played. PvP at 100 is determined on the player.

PvE from 1-100 = Hit things until they die, die to the occasional PKer that comes by, dodge the occasional PKer that comes by, kill the occasional PKer that comes by.

Now you are CC. Let's see how many aspects of the game comes in at this time.

1: You now have to fight for leveling spots against other nations, the better the spot the more intense the fighting. (You know next to nothing about PvPing)
2: Rares. You don't even know how to make them, have no job skills since you had no idea, and you're happy with your +5 force red mischa.
3: On the same topic, spending days making and failing rares and wasting more time than I care to remember.
3: You're fighting people who actually do know what they are doing, and dying in seconds, having no idea why they are owning you so hard and realizing it would be nearly impossible to beat them. (Can you imagine how a true new player feels hitting 500 on people? Just try to imagine yourself in that situation.)
4: You now have to concentrate on leveling your tactics rather than your actual level.
5: You have no idea what Dual Class entails, and no clue as to how to set your points so that none are wasted.
6: Dungeons which are f*** boring as f*** and drop some of the best items in the game, and having to deal with the PKing that goes on in there.
7: Dual fame.
8: War on a huge map with nearly no res anywhere.
9: You now know how 1 class works, barely. There are 4 others with skills and abilities unfamiliar to you, not only that, but skills and abilities that in the hand of a skilled player are 100 times more deadly.
10: If you didn't have a solid group leveling up, you now have to find a group of people who you can party with consistently to level properly. (Probably one of the harder things due to the low population, especially if you don't know anyone.)
11: Politics. Drama. Do I need to elaborate?

Yet, the virtual point of the entire post was you learn the STYLE of the game.
