Cov wrote:If its so goddamn unfair for the priests and so hard and complicated for them to lvl ( leech ), then why is there so many priests in the top scores?? I dont really see the purpose of these threads since priests seem to be lvlin just fine without the exp pills giving + exp to leechers.

And think about it, is it fair for the server that gets it's income on people buying RE mostly for EXP pills if only the blaster needs to buy exp pills and the whole party gets more exp?? lots of warriors, even while tanking, are buying and using the exp pills.

Look at the overall scores, half of the the people there are priests, is they're life really so hard? being 5 of the top 10 isn't enough?? ok then, lets put that the double exp pills give more exp to leechers because its not fair if all 10 of the overall scores aren't priests.. COMPLETLY NOT FAIR! FIX THIS NOW GM TEAM! * sarcasm *

The suggestion was givin, thx, but lets move on from this topic...

I completely agree, priests are easy enough to play as they are. Make your priest a blaster or just keep on going Q_Q if you don't like it.

That's a total of 122 pots a person can hold. I'm assuming the wizard will want to carry their own mana pots instead of my hp pots. Say I tank a pit with 5 argos. Even while using smart rares, that's about 1 hit every 5 seconds at best from each monster. Plus there's poison damage, which is like 5 (or 10?)% of your hp every 10 seconds aka about 2K damage.

So that's about 1 hit every second (4K hp loss per second) then 5% hp loss every 10 seconds (200 damage per second). So about 4.2K damage per second. My HP can make me live about 8 seconds before I need to pot. So 1 pot every 8 seconds I can live about 17 minutes before I use up all 122 pots.

So let's go back to a time when most of us were under CC and didn't fight monsters that take 10% of their hp and we leveled mostly in town where it didn't take 5 minutes to repot then I'll consider your point.

Umm, Guess you never heard of picking up pots from the ground.

In .MY, I leveled in VD 1 and we didn't have a dedicated healer. Also this was in the middle of the room, not line style leveling. We lasted 2-3-4 rooms until we had to spend 5 minutes to repot... OMGAWD, WE PLAYED THE GAME BACK THEN!

How are they leveling them? Using healing macros?

so u're saying that thsoe ppl who use macro's (and dont play the game) shouldnt get full exp from party? i wouldn't mind it being like that, but then again, y are only priests who macro heal the ones who get the lower exp and not everyone that is macroing (cuz blasters do macro just as easy)

Yep. Don't like it? Then do something about it. Example: spawn mobs in the area where people would line level. GMs failed to properly prevent line leveling from the beginning of the server, and till it's changed, people will take advantage of it.

Minipp wrote:Instead of arguing about whats a bug and whats not, GMs should fix the things that aren't acceptable.

If its doable right now, then use it!

If line leveling is acceptable, then why are you even whining about people not playing the game... and assuming people are afk leveling when their healing using a macro . It's a done deal, it's ALLOWED.

If line leveling isn't acceptable, then I refer you to your own quote.

Either way, you lose. :| :greet:

I agree with you arab........ I really do.... Which is why you see myself taking advantage of line leveling as well...

If macros could/would be stopped fully, then the game would be so much better. Unfortunately, thats a pretty hard task to do. So in my opinion, the GMs need to work on randomizing the pits or adding monsters in the normal 'AFK spots'. This would solve 80% of the problem.

If thieves, warriors, archers, mages LEECHED EXPERIENCE.... they get slow experience as well. But the fact they blast, they get better experience. So why can't priest blast to get better experience as well?? Whats stopping players from doing that. Lets get a better discussion on how to FIX the problem rather than arguing about it.

I actually don't see any problem with leaching exp, considering priests are the only class that don't need tactic.

On-topic: Exp pills for leachers should definitely be added (more money for the server aswell ).

Ye. or make it so that it only works for players who are contributing to the party (ex: blasting / healing / buffing/ doing something). This way leechers who just sit and do nothing won't gain from it and it would help priests out.

Picking pots from the ground would still only let you last 2 rooms at most. And guess what? If you leave every 2 rooms to repot, someone's going to steal your mobs. The DR community has changed so the old fashioned way to play can't be applied anymore.
