Fame

getting fame is not what makes people rage quit, noone giving a crap about low/mid lvs does.
little to no event or quest for them and wars being quite stupid since any d1+ will just drop a fart and kill them is what truly makes them rage quit.

in the end people are forced to do nothing else than lvlup/job till they are d1 with a nice amount of rares wich is not something that exactly encourage them to keep playing.

I have that exact prob since I semi-quit all the time, but it doesn't stop me from playing and having fun whenever I have time. I do realize it can be frustrating for a lot of people though ( even my guildies ).
There was a debate about reducing the effectiveness of rares at the beginning of the server, but idk it just got left alone
Anyway it'd be somewhat late for that since loads of people massed G9s already.

hardest party of dr was to make rares n lvling, here if u pill u can lvl easy since no pk allowed and rares is even easier to do, me not hardcore job got 8sards a day and 24 rares, 2 gm bs n stop makin char coz i change from war to archer...

and dual class that was easier historcly here is a pain, u have to log 80days to donate 1mill n make 5fame quest, if u low lvl u wont get shit from war, maybe cant log other wars coz u have stuff to do, so if u not a hardcore it could take u an year to get dc1 ? is every1 agree with this? is it? then i guess im the only noob here wit senceless opinions ? wow...

btw... im not asking to give more FAME!!!! u can also put ladder quests! 1k ladder for a quest of choice, this could even make more friends play n play friendly, since also dun have "pk" system like b4...


PS: Red enveloped are for rich ppl or hardocre ppl, im neither of both and i cant afford that... and im not the only 1 on this place... maybe rich ppl from rich country could make a RE donation? maybe quit the shits u get from every 10lvls u lvl while u noob to give red enveloped instead? dunno...

It would actually take 40 days to get enough fame for Dual 1 if you donated 20m per day and did the 5 fame quest per day. (You already start with 1,000 Fame) This seems reasonable if you're not a hardcore player no??

As I mentioned before.. There are quests that give fame also. Why not spend the extra time to do these if you think you're going to get level 105 that fast.

But if you think about it. You get what you put time or effort into. If you don't have TIME, then you simply won't get it as fast as others. Thats common sense.

COMMON SENSE suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure. Charles is a good student if he spend more than 5 hours per day to DR he for sure never will get graduated. U should make a non-harcore guide to explain him how to raise his fame playing lousy. Laddering was a good solution for all those people who like it. Theres no sense to remove it and anyway GMs did make a reallity this idea of take off laddering, i know they was thinking on it for years but well, mostly players dont like it.
Gonna be better for all those who reply to this post better turn ON his brains to think about a good suggestion before start replying negative to all those who want suggest something. This is a way to all players to give his own opinion to GM team about an Own suggestion, if the person who suggest something want to discuss it with players then for sure he will use different section for it.

There's about 50 fame you can get from the quests in Hegemonia/wanen. Then there's like 25 or so fame you can get from the bard quests in towns.

If Charles is a good student who plays casually, it'll take him about 1-2 months to get level 100. If he's a casual player, it'll take him 1-2 weeks to get 100-125 TT which added together should be enough time to get the needed fame from donations. These estimates are without pill and without power leveling because if Charles is able to afford pills, I assume he's able to afford SOME red envelopes as well. This is also assuming you spend less than 5 hours per day on DR. 1 hour or so will be dedicated to jobbing. Probably 1 hour getting ready to go leveling (getting a party together) then at most 3 hours leveling.

Increasing fame makes the NEW or RETURNING hardcore players able to catch up. It actually hurts the casual players who take things slow because the fame issue limits the progression of new/returning hardcore players.
