Right no I'm trying to get octopus and sturgeon... which I can't catch with a fishing rod, or else I could. Those are also the rare fish that don't drop that often and get buried under the crap fish.

Two days ago I went fishing in Barantan and ended up finding a lot of Octopus and about 7 Sturgeon. I must of just got lucky.

I have no problems finding octopus. I do have problems finding sturgeon though. Sedless has 10+ sturgeon spots... so that's less than 1 per spot average?

I only know 1 spot in sedless and it is always empty. I never did bother to look for the others.

But in Barantan, there are so many untouch spots. Originally, I just went there for some Eels and Gm daily but when I found my first sturgeon by mistake, I just kept fishing up all the spots with low resource bars and ended up with a nice load. I guess old habits only keep people looking at known resource maps and ignoring the new main town high resources sometimes.

I agree its a bit hard to see. I have to move around a lot to empty areas on the ground when fish pile up too much to wait for them to disappear.
